Morning all! A beautiful real wedding to showcase for you today courtesy of the lovely Robin Chamberlain at 83 Weddings. Alice and Baz’s wedding celebration was intimate, pretty and personal. Vintage inspired with plenty of homespun touches, cast your eyes over the images and you’re immediately thrust into the feel of their day which was clearly fun, informal and full of heart…
From bride Alice: We wanted our wedding to feel very personal. Luckily for us we have a lot of talented friends and family that allowed us to do this. We had to pull in a lot of favours! My brother-in-law Brad is an amazing celebrant and wrote a really lovely ceremony about the story of ‘us’. My friend Helen is a chef and made the cake, and my mum did all the flowers from her own garden.
I would say the theme was Vintage, with the groom and grooms-men wearing tweed, and the wedding dress coming from a stall at the Leeds Vintage Wedding Fair. The venue, Rushpool Hall, was incredible. The rooms and the exterior were so grand. Combined with the glorious weather, this all made for some stunning photos! Our photographer Robin was great too. He was so discrete that we didn’t notice he was there most of the time! This enabled him to snap some amazing natural shots of our guests having a good time at our wedding.
I just love that the flowers were home grown, the gown vintage and the celebrant a Kiwi (I’m a proud one too!)…and that so many creative aspects of the day were made for Alice & Baz with love! Just gorgeous.
Have a sweet Thursday.
