About - Juno and Joy

Juno & Joy is a design led UK wedding blog aimed at contemporary, relaxed, yet luxe wedding style – for couples endeavouring to create a personal and stylish celebration, using reliable and talented suppliers…

An innovative platform for planning brides and grooms, our aim is to be a place of inspiration, where couples can discover more of the voices within the industry – within the blog we house The Collective, The Flower Guide and more planned “hubs” yet to be revealed…

What’s in a name?

The name stems from the idea that every couple should protect their vision of their wedding day, without compromise. We needed a strong woman to defend that ideal, and Roman Goddess Juno being the protector of women and marriage was naturally a perfect choice. Joy represents your enduring happiness…and also happens to be the name of editor Sarah’s spirited & sassy Grandma!

Creator and editor Sarah Christopher is a former actress, one time home designer, forever writer and wannabe florist who cut her blogging cloth on Boho Bride – a blog set up to plan and create her own wedding day. It fast became one of the UK’s most popular bridal blogs for the free-spirited at heart. Fast forward 4+ years, married and a mum Sarah found her taste and style had diversified and evolved and felt a desire to progress her creativity into a new blogging home.

Our blogging Bride-to-be…

Meet Lauren new

Our blogging bride-to-be Lauren Clarke caught the wedding bug 25 years ago when she was a flower girl for the first time, swinging her posie and singing happy birthday all the way up the aisle (yes there is video evidence, & no you can’t see it)! A whopping eight times a bridesmaid later, it’s FINALLY Lauren’s turn to be the bride after her fiancé James popped the question earlier this year.

Want to know more?

Lauren loves to read – in the bath, on the train, under the covers or on the beach; she’s always got her head buried in a good book. The story of her life is made up of white chocolate buttons, Breton stripes, peppermint tea, dancing shoes, lemon meringue pie, showtune sing-a-longs and lazy Sundays with James. Someday she’d like to write a book of her own, but for now, she can’t wait to start filling the pages of Juno & Joy with her bridal musings and adventures in wedding planning…
