Features like today’s are what makes me so utterly grateful for the awesome job I get to do…it’s a real privilege to be sent work such as this from a highly creative and talented team of South West wedding suppliers. The perfect launch into Autumn this styled shoot took place at the jaw-droppingy beautiful Pentillie Castle, Cornwall, styled by Blue Fizz Events will provide many a bride & groom with inspirational ideas, showcasing rustic yet luxurious elegance executed to perfection.

From Bridget at Blue Fizz Events: The inspiration for this shoot came from the Gold ornate mirrors and the elegance of the castle interiors and bookcases which then lead down to the impressive and extensive grounds. The mix of the formal and informal settings to get married in one location inspired the use of tweeds alongside faded gold’s with decadent crockery and opulent blooms set against a rustic table setting. The landscape was a dream comes true for this shoot providing us with the dramatic and dreamlike images with the couple completely at one with their surroundings. Elegance with a hint of country chic led to a very relaxed vibe to our love affair with Pentille…

I have to admit I found this feature very hard to edit – there were so many incredibly beautiful images (Ben’s work is breath-taking) and far too many inspiring details that I wanted to include…from the swag of muted dark florals (pretty please Brides pick this trend up & run with it!) to the gold embossed cake…the gold highlights in general actually, to the dapper groom in glasses and the insanely beautiful avant guard headpiece against the soft, classic up-do of a Celtic looking bride…oh did I mention those flowers?!

Divine! All of it.

Those are some serious flowers you’ve got going on there! Love Philip’s work but wow he’s really outdone himself with the table flowers! Also love Ben’s photography.
But….we need to see more of the cakes – more close ups please!

Thanks Nicola…and noted! Will be adding a gallery to styled shoot & featured wedding posts asap – it’s far too hard to edit incredible inspiration such as this to a mere 12 images (I think this one hit a record 20!) Xx
