The Christmas Bride

Happy Christmas! I’d not normally post on Christmas Day but as some of you might know my darling Dad passed away last week - which has not only broken my heart - but thrown my schedule off a little. I decided to push through publishing this week due to the beautiful content I had on standby and my desire to share the work and inspiration…I promised my Dad I wouldn’t sink!

So today I’m showcasing something very seasonal and very close to my heart. A little shoot I styled last year alongside some wonderful Devon suppliers…ad-hoc and inspired by our surroundings we created a simple winter wedding scheme with very little. Using foraged greenery, and clothing and accessories from our own wardrobes (talk about budget friendly eh?) it was all about simple - and for the most part - timeless styling; the essence of a Victorian Christmas postcard…but to include contemporary twists.

Here’s our Christmas Bride and her beau:

Juno & Joy Christmas Bride 4

I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support this year - it’s only been 10 months since we launched and boy have we enjoyed the ride so far! Loving every moment of the journey.

I’ll be taking a little time off now - to grieve - to hold my boys close - and to catch up on some sleep…for we’ve plenty in store for 2015 and I need to be on-top of my game!

Thank you for baring with me at such an emotional time. I hope, whatever you plans, that you enjoy a magical Christmas filled with love.

See you next year!
