From Bride Kristin: We chose a mountainside wedding to create something romantic, magical, ethereal. Our scheme was rustic mountain inspired. The new ballroom at the Stein is so beautiful with its glass windows and huge fireplaces that I wanted to keep things simple. Kellie at Artisan Bloom created the most beautiful flower arrangements. The colors and combination of flowers were perfect. I wanted something that looked like it could have been picked right out of the wild—not too manicured. We got rain and sunshine on the day! The rain only added to the moment. I absolutely loved it. My favourite memory of the day is when it started raining during our vows. It was magical… straight out of a movie!
Favourite reception memory? We had amazing toasts. I think they got the whole room crying. And the dance with my dad was very special. He suffered from a severe stroke just a year prior so it was such a blessing that he was not only able to walk, but dance with me for the whole song.
