An anagram of the Latin term “vena amoris” meaning vein of love, this innovative now bridal design house Maria Senvo has hit-the-ground running with it’s début collection of dresses aimed at contemporary brides in search of a “paired down aesthetic, with just the right amount of glamour”. Designers Ryan Wilkinson and Holly Cuthburt noticed a gap in the market…one that appeals to our own demographic (and by that I mean you lovely lot!) - modern planning brides who’s AM to PM wardrobe is “simple, paired down and effortless”.
I have to say their designs have gotten me a little hot-under-the-collar particularly as they cite their design influences as being modernism, art and culture. So hot. So now. And with simple, flattering structure, directional style and a melting pot of embellishments and statement hardware I’m seriously coveting their gowns.
So, who’s up for making a statement in a Maria Senvo gown?
