I am so pleased to be seeing many more simply styled engagement shoots of late. One’s that truly reflect the couple and their signature style rather than shoe-horning some kind of theme into their images…Now I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with creating a scheme around a passion or hobby but I do feel there should be a tangible link, a connection of dots that offers a reason for styling it in such a way. A perfect example being the Bee-keepers Shoot featured a few weeks back.
Today’s feature is a perfect example of all that I mention above. Simply two people in love, getting to know the camera and their photographer against a beautiful backdrop that allows them to feel comfortable and look natural - the very point of an engagement shoot. Joy resonates in every image which makes it such a privilege to be able to have a peek into these intimate moments with Adam & Jo ahead of their big day. Stunning photography by Miss Gen:
Don’t those awesome flower shots make your think of the “Daydream” song? And that lift shot is incredible! Photographer Gen has captured such a sense of their surroundings…the hustle a bustle of London against those moments of total serenity when you find a little pocket of green.
What wonderful keepsakes for Adam and Jo! Congrats both - hope you had an wonderful wedding.
