AN ETHEREAL BRIDE IN A BLUEBELL WOOD – STYLED SHOOT

Buckholt Bluebell Bridal

From an inspiration point of view there’s nothing better than being able to follow a creative journey from the initial spark of an idea to the reality – I feel that’s what makes beautiful wedding style attainable too. Well today’s offering won’t disappoint. Submitted by Kate Cullen – the creative lady behind the innovative and stylish wedding and event styling company Lavender & Linen  and supported but an incredible collaborative team of wedding industry peers this stunning shoot not only offers some breath-taking spring wedding ideas but puts them into the very real context of a showery April day!

Beautiful ideas spanning a palette of vibrant blue hues and spring greens, Brides, I’m pretty sure you’ll all be twitching towards that “pin” button in no time…

From Kate of Lavender & Linen:  An ancient bluebell woodland in the heart of the Cotswolds was the perfect setting for our flower fairy inspired wedding shoot. Bringing together some of the region’s finest wedding suppliers, we wanted to show how you can highlight and incorporate the bright blue of the flowers and the zing of the spring greens in their fresh and naturally beautiful setting. Theresa shot on both film and digital during heavy April showers, lending an ethereal, elemental quality to the overall look and feel of the images.

And if you’re wondering how to bridge the gap from inspiration to reality, here’s where Kate started – with a mood board of beautiful ideas to carry through into the shoot itself…a creative way to really hone your wedding ideas and plans:

I for one am swooning all over the delicate flower crown, flower anklet, dewy make-up and flower adorned car – I could go on – there’s too much pretty!
