An Intimate Woodland Wedding In Pennyslvannia

Jessica and Adam’s small and intimate woodland wedding grew from their initial plans to have a courthouse ceremony - inspired by the beautiful engagement ring bestowed to Jessica containing diamonds from Adam’s grandmothers ring they decided that family should be at the heart of their plans…

And so, on a balmy Autumn day in September their small and beautiful wedding took place at Cook Forest State Park - a location dear Adam’s family as it’s where his grandparents and parents courtships took place and also meant they could be in attendance as it wasn’t too far to travel. The couples post wedding party took place at a brewery near their own home in Ohio a month later. The warmth and relaxed atmosphere is captured beautifully by Aperture Photography.

From Bride Jessica: The ceremony was filled with personal touches, including a blessing of the rings, individual stories of love and commitment, a reading from my brother and lots of laughter. One of the best parts of the wedding was being encased in the natural surroundings, which provided a magnificent, organic backdrop.
