We’re hopping across-the-pond for a delightful destination wedding today! Brimming with beautiful details Tim and Malissa’s real wedding feature also runs on perfectly from our blogging bride Lauren’s post yesterday about bridal party numbers - for they had an enormous wedding party totalling 14 attendants made up of bridesmaids, flower girls and grooms-men…now that’s one popular couple!
The lakeside location was chosen as it’s where the couple met and fell in love and Lake Hume is where Tim proposed. Allowing the breath-taking surroundings to lead their forest wedding plans teacher Malissa created a beautiful scheme with impeccable attention-to-detail and was also able to use the talents of her florist mother to further add to their intricate and lovely nature inspired celebration:
From photographer Carly: Malissa knew right away that the “Natural” theme was the only way to go since they were after all, up in the mountains. Her mother is a florist and went to work creating the perfect centerpieces, bouquets and cake toppers. This was her time to let all of her creative tendencies to shine and all the guests were blown away by the attention to every last detail.
Oh how I adore this wedding…it’s all so personal and pretty and photographer Carly Short has captured the feel of the day and the rustic surroundings perfectly - don’t you think?
