There’s nothing better than beginning the week on a high and today’s real wedding captured by Julie Michaelsen is sure to leave you feeling elated. Nicola and Duncan tied the knot in Nicola’s home-town of Bridport in Dorset with a relaxed, personal and breath-takingly beautiful celebration that put their friends and family at the very heart of their day…
From Duncan: We chose the venue as we wanted to marry in Nic’s home-town so everyone could some and see how great it is by the sea and with incredible countryside. We felt The Chapel in the Garden and The Bull really suited us as all the formal bits of a wedding were included but in a really relaxed, easygoing way. We really wanted people to enjoy themselves!
The ceremony was very much a family affair with readings by Nic’s auntie, my sister and my uncle. The highlight was probably singing Let There Be Love by Nat King Cole all clicking our fingers and swaying whilst singing loudly.
Not only is this gorgeous garden inspired wedding styled to perfection (seasonal wildflowers – yes!) but truly touching too – storyteller Julie’s images narrate the day so well it’s almost like we’ve all been part of the celebration!
