Today’s wedding is perfect placed to embrace spring approaching - a colourful celebration showcasing an array of incredible suppliers from the North. Seasonal, natural, relaxed. There are so many details of Paul & Stephanie’s day you’ll adore - from the shots of yellow running through the scheme…um, there’s a canary yellow piano-come-bar, I kid you not (!)…the gorgeous back-story behind the couples creative paper decor and lets not forget the breath-taking backdrop of the awesome Lake District, perfectly captured by Nina of Bells & Bows Photography…
From Bride Stephanie: We’re both from Sheffield but love the Lake District, so knew we wanted to have our wedding there surrounded by the mountains we’ve spent many weekends climbing. We wanted to create an informal atmosphere that matched the setting, and to keep everything feeling natural and relaxed.
Most of the decor was DIY with a little help from my friends, family and the 64th Sheffield Brownie Pack - I’m a leader there so wanted to include them in my wedding in some way, as they couldn’t actually attend, so set them the task of making tissue paper tassels, which would have taken me ages on my own!
A tipi wedding…with a ceilidh band…and pops of colour…pretty close to wedding perfection methinks.
