Team Glam Make-Up Inspiration & Statement Flower Wall

Today’s inspiration comes courtesy of Team Glam – a group of highly skilled make-up artists and hair stylists who’ve created their own elite collective in order to work together and support each other whilst offering the wedding industry innovative inspiration and assuring brides that the most impeccable level of work will be bestowed should they choose to use Team Glam and it’s memebers.

Theirs such an awesome concept I knew immediately that I’d be able to get behind all of their work – but when I saw their portfolio? Mind.Blown. Boundary pushing concepts that are attainable too, the shoot and film that we’re showcasing today is edgy, directional and fun. Team Glam tells us more:

Every 4-6 weeks we all get together at Team Glam and talk about what we feel would really inspire our bridal clients for their own wedding days. 2014 was a big year for the ‘flower wall’ after being used by many fashion houses such as Dior and Jimmy Choo. We wanted a vibrant backdrop where we could use the colour as inspiration for the hair and make-up whilst showing something that was lavish and accessible for real brides. At Team Glam we are all about producing magazine quality images of our hair and make-up to show our clients that this level of perfection is available and affordable to them.

Our inspirational shoots are not always about our clients ‘choosing’ a look from our images, but having the opportunity to show our skills and creativity. Each of us created something very different for the flower wall shoot, when you have 8 very different visions its always going to be slightly Avant-Garde. For make-up we all agreed that the use of pink should be the main focal point of creating this look, going very vibrant on either eyes, cheeks or lips. The Hair stylists agreed that although they would have very different styles it was important to concentrate on an oversized style to really show the detail in the hair.

Here’s their inspiring wedding shoot film:

Oh that flower wall…my heart! What an inspiring way to work – collectively – sustaining such a high standard and honing ideas and inspiration alongside each other. Wow.
