I’m so thrilled to finally be able to reveal this! Last year the lovely Natasha Jane approached myself and a few of my wedding industry peers to collaborate on a collection of bridal headwear inspired by our beloved blogs. Working from a selection of images, mood boards and drawings Natasha Jane brought all our ideas to reality, interpreting them so beautifully to create gorgeous statement pieces that are practical and wearable too.
For the Juno & Joy headpiece I took inspiration from our logo – the olive branch leaves that represent our Greek Goddess’s namesake and my love of botany. I liked the idea of warm, gold tones – classic and elegant and a great colourway that never dates and asked Natasha if the headpiece could be worn flush to a brides head as a kind of backwards crown – so it can be seen as a statement piece by the wedding guests/congregation as the ceremony takes place…
Here are my style notes to Natasha: Juno is the Roman goddess of women & marriage and that’s what we’d like to inspire the headpiece along with our logo…Strong, statement style with the focal point being at the back of a brides head made of warm gold/blush tones. Perfect for an ethereal bride.
What Natasha Jane came up with was incredible! Two separate combs that can sit either side of the brides head as high or low as she’d like – worn on their own, under a veil or sat just above one, with hair either up or down.
Created with golden beads, Swarovski crystals, gold plated wire and finished with cool ivory beading to accent the individual leaves the Juno & Joy bridal headpiece is available from Natasha Jane for £175
And you can have a look at all the beautifully designed pieces in the new Collaboration Collection here.
