Morning my dears! Half way though the week already and plenty of pretty published below…happy days indeed! I was thrilled to be introduced to Ruth Atkinson‘s artistic work via her submission below. North-East based Ruth has actually sent me an engagement shoot from slightly warmer climes…the beautiful Almalfi Coast to be precise and an area I became acquainted with through a friends wedding a couple years back.
Almalfi could easily steal the crown form Paris as wedding capitol of the world - it exudes romance from every cobble, every flakey painted façade and lets not forget the breathtaking coastal backdrop! Here’s what Ruth has to say about Adam and Rosie’s shoot:
Adam and Rosie happen to be good friends of my husband and I (in fact my husband was the best man at the wedding!). We took the opportunity to take their engagement shoot on a holiday we went on together. Adam and Rosie were never intending on asking me to photograph their wedding as they wanted me to enjoy being a guest. However after showing them the Amalfi photos they asked if I would in fact shoot their wedding too. I would have been itching to take photographs even if I wasn’t the photographer (i so love my job!) and so I was delighted to be asked.
Fresh and natural - e-shoot perfection. Ruth’s really captured the character of this friendly, stylish location.
…We also have Rosie & Adam’s wedding to publish tomorrow and my word you’re in for a treat. A winter wedding…on Lake Windermere! Oh yes!
