Happy Tuesday! Today we’ve the pleasure of announcing our three short-listed couples in the run to win their entire wedding photography package with Frances Carlisle (details HERE). We were so pleased to receive such wonderful submissions and had a tough job of whittling down to the final three - so a huge thank you to all who entered…it was lovely to have a nose at everyone’s Pinterest boards - what a creative bunch you are and what gorgeous celebrations you’re all planning!
To cast a vote for one of our couples simply add a comment on this post saying VOTE COUPLE “?” whomever from A,B or C strikes a chord with you. We’ll be asking the same on Facebook and will add up the totals at the end of the week. Alex & Adam Wedding date: 20th March 2015. Alex and Adam have known each other since childhood and have been a couple for nearly 9 years. I feel terribly sorry for couples A & C - This is not a fair contest! I understand that ‘couple B’ have since removed part of their post on The Money Savings Expert, but this looks like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted (the massive disparity in votes between the three couples only proves this)

Hi Roger, thanks for your comment. We can assure you this is a fair competition - each of our couples have gone through the same process to be short-listed and have been given the same opportunity to gain votes. We can see that the post on MSE has been amended, however this was due to the couple being upset by comments being left here - not because we’ve asked them too. It did not breech our terms and conditions - no incentives have been offered from votes and individuals are voting of their own free will, for all of the couples short-listed.
Yes this couple are members of a forum and have gained support this way - another may be part of a big corporate business and have access to thousands of colleagues via an internal email system…another couple may be prolific social media users and benefit from enormous support that way or be part of a community such as a sports league - how is one degree of support more fair than another?
Voting is open until midnight Friday. There is still plenty of time for people to vote for any of the lovely couples short-listed. No one couple is more or less deserving than another - so it’s up to the public to get behind who they feel passionate about. We’re not just accepting votes on here but via Facebook and our competition email [email protected]
