PUNK ROCK BRIDE - Juno and Joy

Morning lovelies, apologies for today’s post being a little late – experienced some technical difficulties behind-the-scenes this morning but all fixed now (I hope!)…did you all have a relaxing weekend? Well here’s to a wonderful week. And for all of those who didn’t drop by Friday – be sure to check out this amazing competition from Natasha Jane headwear – incredible prize to be won!

Right, back to today and our latest Lookbook entry…one from a styled shoot we took part in ahead of launching Juno & Joy. We explored many different styles this day in order to offer our readers some out-of-the-box inspiration and the confidence to channel alternative bridal style. This happens to be a favourite of mine and a really fun, quite stylised look – not for the faint hearted – but very much “of the moment” for an alternative bride with a finger on the fashion pulse…

And don’t feel you need to channel the full look – instead of a coloured wedding dress, you could still wear white with a trophy jacket over-the-top or even a little cropped leather number. Wear the Converse for your reception only or replace the statement headwear with a crown of flowers or an embellished headband if that’s more your thing…

This look isn’t exclusive to Brides either – it would really suit bridesmaids too!
