I indulged in a total “pinch myself” moment when I received this shoot by Bethany Snyder Photography…it embodies everything I adore about showcasing bridal inspiration and the talented suppliers who make it happen. Ethereal bride personified the following images are pretty much bridal utopia for me…elegant and refined yet relaxed too…a difficult balance of elements to create but attributes so many couples aspire to when creating their wedding style.
Captured at The Little Workshop with the emphasis on elegant boudoir it serves as tantalising inspiration:
From Bethany: I had the great honour to attend Michael and Carina’s “The Little Workshop” this last Fall. The theme is “Gossypium” - the Latin name for the cotton plant family. Every detail was incredibly thought out and fashioned with ethereal love. I was enchanted by the sun setting across the cotton fields with a stunning red head in focus. We started out our session as a boudoir bridal shoot, with our model elegantly dressed with a lace robe. Through out the day there were cotton details, beautiful calligraphy and flowers to be giddy over. As the sun sank lower on the horizon we made our way to the cotton fields. Our gorgeous girl ventured out in the sunlight, with her silky gown that caught the wind just right. The whole night was simply magical as the golden light washed everything in sight.
A simple palette that’s simply styled yet there is a sense of luxury oozing from this shoot…I put that down to quality and coherence…it all just fits and that’s why the scheme works so beautifully against the cotton field backdrop.
And yes…that’s a ring of tiny buds. I know.
J’adore. Big time.
♥ Sarah
