Now you all know we’re a bunch of flower lovers here at J&J HQ so it’s no wonder our heads have been turned by the latest collection of lovely by Alex Monroe. The Language Of Flowers collection was inspired by “the Victorian concept of a silent language which could say what was not dared to be spoken”.
For centuries Brides and the bereft have chosen to include specific flowers in their bouquets and remembrance sheaves due to their symbolism, yet in recent years the language and meanings have been lost slightly. However with more of us creating highly personal celebrations, perhaps inspired by nostalgia or simply because many don’t wish to have their wedding dated by “trends” the language of flowers has begun to become known and prevalent once more…
