My husband and I were lucky enough to attend the wedding of a friend in Italy a few years ago – and it seems since then so many more friends and acquaintances have made the decision to host a destination wedding. It’s a wonderful way to really spend quality time focusing on a friendship and celebrating a union…so when today’s shoot popped into our submissions file we knew it would not only serve as relevant content for those planning a wedding abroad, but it’s utterly breath-taking too! Showcasing all the elegance you’d associate with an Italian castle wedding, frame to frame there’s so many swoon-worthy wedding ideas to covet and “Pin”.
From stylist Elisa at Scelta di Classe: This styled shoot took place in Italy in a medieval castle located above a hill. All around vineyards and greenery. Inside pastel colours and gold dominate, whereas outside green and the colours of the nature dominate. Elegance, simplicity and femininity are the best words, in our opinion, to describe our bride, so angelic in her cream wedding gown. We chose simple, coloured and seasonal flowers for the floral arrangement and bouquet and we tried to communicate all the strength and the happiness of the summer by using the red and the yellow colours (especially in the pictures taken outside). So in brief, simply a romantic styled shoot to inspire romantic people…
The styling is so simple yet utterly breath-taking – full of texture, colour and form. Love!
