50’s inspired but full of modern romance this styled shoot, a concept by photographers Sabrina Rossi & Lina Arvidsson is the perfect mix of vintage meets contemporary wedding style – which in my mind is the only way to pay “homage” to a bygone age!
Brimming with style and sass there’s plenty of pin-able ideas for all you city chic planning brides. Here’s what inspired this talented team of wedding professionals…
From Sabrina: Me & You, our wedding In Rome Grey stones, narrow streets, Italian taste and a poetic idea of Rome during the Dolce Vita time. A romantic escape in a city full of history: getting married in a old Roman Church, while the streets outside are crowded of people. Finding small restaurant in quite corner in Trastevere, one of the most typical and romantic neighborhood in Rome, where to enjoy seafood and a blessed, refreshing white glass of wine. Red details in perfect harmony with all vintage details. This is what we were imaging, first good friends and then photographers, Me and Lina where dreaming this shooting in my city, my Rome, from the moment I moved back Sweden, where we could work together some years ago. To do so we asked for help to the wonderful Cristina and Camilla, wedding and event planner of Rosenvoile Wedding | Party | Style.
We met with all the crew in Trastevere and we started to shoot. We were followed by curios people enchanted from the idea of a bride and a groom going around on a Vespa. It was fun, it was difficult but we have been inspired from Rome, with its San Pietrino streets and beautiful corners full of flowers.
There is something so utterly appealing about getting married in such a small and stylish way…don’t you think? Love a city wedding!
