This is the stuff my wedding dreams were made of! I was a Claire Pettibone bride myself so can confirm the sheer artistry of her gowns. Feminine and ethereal her designs are the epitome of beauty and bohemia heavily adorned with lace, floral motifs and appliqué you can’t help but feel divine wearing one of her gowns.
The Claire Pettibone 2015 Romantique Collection puts the emphasis on understated elegance – bias cut gowns with a little less frou focussing on simple yet romantic and flattering shapes such as draped and off-the-shoulder styles, simple yet impactful design statements like low backs and layers, and beautiful embroidered lace. Set at a slightly lower price point to appeal to those without a couture budget but without compromise to the quality, I’m pretty sure it’s going to be another bumper year for this much coveted bridal design house.
Oh Patchouli! …And how about those gypsophilia halo’s? Wow.
P.S. I’ll be sharing Claire Pettibone’s couture collection – Gothic Angel with you really soon! x
